WB1051
WiFi to PSTN Gateway

The WB1051 is a single port WiFi to PSTN Gateway used for creating an application for WiFi Phoe or Dual Mode Handset user to make calls via PSTN network. For Dual Mode Handset user, WB1051 provides an opportunity for subscribers to use the same handset to make mobile call while traveling and PSTN calls at home.

WB1051 creates a WiFi network and talks to WiFi or Dual Mode Handset on this network via SIP protocol. A SIP proxy server is embedded in WB1051 to allow WiFi Handset to register and place/receive intercom calls or PSTN calls. Set up and configuration is similar to that of a DECT cordless phone. WiFi coverage can also be increased by adding Tecom repeater WB1051R.
